Block Carving for Beginners - Online Workshop October 22nd at 12pm MT
This workshop is for folks who want to learn to block print! We will primarily be focused on block carving in this workshop, but I will briefly cover how to print with your block. We WILL talk about: materials and tools, creating an illustration for block printing, transferring your image, and then the fun part, CARVING!
We will use the most basic pencil transfer method in class to create a small project you will likely be able to complete in class. I will send out an email through Eventbrite within a few days of your registration, but you can also find a copy of the welcome email and supply list on the event page.

Intermediate Block Carving - Online Workshop Nov. 19th at 12pm CT
If you have been carving for a while now, feel a bit stuck, and want to take your carving to the next level, this workshop is for you! We will discuss tips and tricks to improve each stage of the block carving process: illustration, transfer, and carving. The end result will be a whole new carving experience, and fewer carving mistakes and misprints!
If the time doesn’t work for you, don’t worry! All ticket holders will get a link to the recording a few days after class. Fabric Printing for Block Printers - Online Workshop Dec. 3rd at 12pmMT
This online workshop is designed for folks with some block printing experience. Mainly, just know that we will not be discussing the process of carving blocks in this class. During this class we will focus on fabric selection and preparation, inking & pressing, and taking care of printed items. The last 30 minutes of class are dedicated to practicing what you’ve learned, sharing projects, feedback and discussion. If the schedule doesn’t work great for you, don’t worry! Everyone registered will get a link to a recording of the workshop a few days after class has ended.
